god, i used to be so into the old grind/thrash stuff. i think i had every band that was ever released under the nuclear black or earache record labels.....even lawnmower death and old lady driver! classics!

speaking of Helloween, I STILL haven't gotten my tapes back from out drummer.
10 to 1 he lent them to someone.
I HATE it when he does that, cuz I never see my shit again.

Gravedigger was pretty ass-kicking too!

I always wanted to hear more from Omen, but only heard 3 or 4 tracks.
Battle Cry was a great tune.

while we're on it, as far as thrash goes, (being Canadian), Razor did some GREAT shit, esp Evil Invaders.
great fucking album.
never cared much for the new singer though.

Sacrifice was tight as hell live, but their soundman sucked balls, big time.

oh man, i used to roll in my first car (1983 turd brown mustang with a YELLOW interior) blasting napalm death and cadaver and vio-lence and overkill and Exodus.

best meatl ever.

till Cronos went on hiatus, although evenb then it was pretty good. I've been listening to Venom since I got home.
after seeing them, that was made me decide to get "serious" abot band stuff.
Cronos is a GOD to me.
a good (not great) bassist&singer, and knows how to work the crowd(more imporant, IMO)

I too had the compulsion of buying every single Earache, Roadrunner, New Reinassance, Noise, Steamhammer, Roadracer, Wildrags, ... for no reason ... I bought so much trash, like, real trash, I was actually relieved when I got rid of it ...

Lawnmower were between those ... come on lads, are you serious ?
